Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday January 24th, 2016 in his 89th year. Husband of the late Marie (nee Hennessy). Dear father of Maryanne Morton (John) and Maureen Michea-Hunkler (Dennis), Grandfather of Michael Winkler (Stephanie), Ann-Marie Winkler, and Sean Morton (Patricia). Great-grandfather of Maeve Winkler. Art also leaves behind his two sisters Eileen McArthur (Bill) and Joan Powell (Charlie). Art will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their compassionate and dedicated care during Art’s last days. Friends may call at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday January 28, 2016. The funeral mass will be at St. Mark’s R.C. Church, 345 Glad Park Avenue, Stouffville on Friday January 29, 2016 followed by a reception at the Stouffville Legion Branch #459, 150 Mostar Street, Stouffville.
