Suddenly passed away, surrounded by his family on November 27, 2015, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital in his 78th year. Loving wife Gail for 55 wonderful years. Cherished father of Dahna Sanderson (Jim St. Pierre), Danielle Jackson (Tony Davis) and David Jackson (Valerie). Loving Grandfather to Duncan Jackson, Dianne Jackson, Jackson Davis, Matthew St. Pierre, Rejene St. Pierre and the late Donald Sanderson. Dedicated to his sisters Pamela Goulbourne (Ted) and Kristine Empringham (Scott). Donald will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends especially the “Men of Note” Choir whom he sang with for the past 15 years. Family and friends are invited to the O’Neill Funeral Home (6324 Main St., Stouffville 905-642-2855) for visitation on Monday November 30, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Donald’s life will take place at Stouffville United Church (34 Church St., Stouffville) on Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
