Peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Monday December 1, 2014 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Frances. Loving brother to Betty Lindblad, Mary Flanagan (Walter) & Fred Passmore (Barbara). Special brother-in-law to Mary Rae Benedict (Jack). Dear Uncle to Sandra, Jayne, Bob, Jeff, Andy, Nora, Diane, Wayne, Kirk, Alison, Jeff, Lynn, Craig and their families. Son of the late Thomas and Eliza Passmore. Cherished friend of Peg Bailey and family. Stewart had a passion for golf, curling and more recently a good game of bridge. As a long time teacher he very much enjoyed his many years of coaching hockey and football. Memorial Service on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Stouffville Legion 459, 150 Mostar St. Stouffville (905-640-1714) with reception to follow.
